Scoot Commute

Snow Snow Snow — it had to happen one day

Dug the Honda Elite, aka JP (for John Player Special) out from his comfy garage to ready him for the commute work on Monday, which doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen on two wheels.

Keeping my beloved city birds in food during the storm…so many refills!

If you own a dog and live in Providence, could you just scoop the poop. How nasty is it to come back home, after shovelling out two other properties and see a giant pile of poop on the walk up to my porch. Don’t just let your hounds out to run around the neighborhood and frolic in the unplowed streets. Yuck. I’d love to hunt you down and sling litter-encrusted cat poop at you. Have some decency for your urban neighbors!

And for you yahoos who think you JUST HAVE TO drive, stop it! You’re blocking the plows, you’re burning up all my and everyone else’s energy digging you out, energy that should be put towards digging our own walks and driveways. Gaaaah! As George Costanza would rant, “We live in a society!”

Ah yes, snow. The Honda looks good to go…and, I suspect your correct Monday’s commute will be on more than two wheels.

As there is no cure for stupid or inflated self-importance I suspect there will always be people mucking up the road clearing. Sad.
