Scoot Commute

It’s better than being called a bundle of sticks

Long day, kinda tired, dark and mildly cold riding home. As I’m scooting down Dexter Street, having just crossed over Cranston Street and passed the beautiful armory,

Cranston Street Armory

I see a guy about to run out into the street and get into his car on the driver’s side (a car that was illegally parked mind you) as another guy starts to get in the passenger’s side. I give the driver wide berth and as I zip by, I hear a woman’s voice yell out, “I like your scooter!”. I turn my head and give a nod. She was standing up on the porch. It sure was nicer to hear than the typical nonsense.
